Great for it's intended purpose. I bought this saw because I needed to replace some fascia where my gutters had leaked at corners. A small saw allowed me to pull back the gutter and cut the fascia square and then replace it.

By the way, when you replace the rotted areas under leaking corners of gutters, if you slide small pieces of aluminum flashing under the gutter you'll keep it from rotting again. But, back to the saw. I've had it for a while and it keeps being useful.

Just today my dear wife asked if I could enlarge a cut out in a cabinet I built so she could put a 6 outlet multitap over the wall outlet. Out came the little Ryobi saw and I cut out the 3/4 maple plywood in seconds, finishing with a hand trim saw. I wouldn't use this saw to build projects since it's less powerful than a 7 1/4 saw, but it's perfect for small jobs. After setting it for the desired results for my application, finished the project the next day. Shot about 600 1 3/4 brad nails (testing and project) 600th was just as good as the first nail. Easy to reload and switch brad nail sizes too. Battery charge lasted awhile with a 2Ah battery which worked great for me, bigger battery would have added to the tools weight and may caused fatigue working over my head.

This is such an awesome tool and we went ahead and bought a weed eater that can use the battery too. The battery doesn't always last as long as we want, but it really does a great job for what it is and the amount we're pushing it especially the saw. Now even when we're done clearing the of unwanted trees, and just need to trim tree limbs we'll always have a solution. Easy to use and does what it is supposed to.
