Small model railway baseboard with N gauge layout in new Peco Code 80 Setrack

  

This is a listing for a 52cm x 60cm baseboard. It is small - perfect for a fun project that doesn't require much space. Practice your scenic skills on a layout that can be finished in a short space of time! You can choose to have a circle of track and one siding fitted and/ or the board pre-painted green as shown in the photographs. Or you could have the baseboard installed within a table.

Select your preference from the drop down menu. Track will be brand new N gauge Peco Setrack code 80. Track will be pinned to the board and wired to an easy connection terminal located upon the baseboard. All electrical connections to the track and terminal will be soldered for trouble free operation. All you need is trains and a controller.

The baseboard has 2" x 1" PAR softwood frame, glued and screwed and a 9mm MDF top, glued and pinned. The table option has a removable lid and fold down front flap for access. Brackets can be swung out to support the front flap to create a shelf for your controller.

When you have finished playing trains, put the lid on and voila - tidy! The height of the table is 59cm (23.5) making a handy side table.
